Susan M. Brown joined Waterford Development Corp in 1997. Responsibilities have included asset management of projects, including projections and cash flow reports for prospective investors and lenders, preparing multi-million dollar loan applications for initial financing and refinancing, analyzing job costs, verifying, inputting, and disbursing subcontractor and supplier payroll averaging $500,000 per month, determining sales prices for new homes and custom options, designing upgrade spreadsheets and specification sheets, as well as daily on-site supervision of residential construction projects from initial infrastructure until final signoffs are received, including closely working directly with buyers to facilitate the construction of their semi-custom homes by providing e-mail updates, photos, and video.
In 2008, as part of a company philosophy of continual improvement in design and construction, Ms. Brown and her team produced a model home in Woodland Pond at Manchester to earn the first ENERGY STAR® label for the company as Woodland Pond became an ENERGY STAR® partner.
Projects included:
- Woodland Pond at Manchester – 73 home subdivision, Manchester, New Hampshire
- Birchside Common at Bedford – 14 home luxury community nestled around a village green, Bedford, New Hampshire The Mews at Bedford – 108 home, over 55 community, Bedford, New Hampshire
- 318 West Adams Street, Chicago, Illinois – 19 story commercial and retail building
Prior to joining Waterford Development, Ms. Brown worked at D&R Products, a manufacturing facility specializing in custom-made medical instruments, where she supervised more than fifty employees and twenty-eight pieces of equipment.
Ms. Brown is a graduate of Harvard University.
