James C. Wiglusz joined Waterford Development Corp in 2001. Responsibilities have included overseeing construction of new residential homes from foundation through first year of home ownership; direct interface for all building department inspections; preparation of plans for foundation and framing crews; preparation of rough layouts for mechanical crews; punching of building frames; construction of optional exterior decks and pergolas; buyer meetings to discuss custom options; preparation of custom plans using AutoCAD software; initial and final walkthrough with buyers prior to closing; all customer service requests post-closing under the limited warranty; scheduling repairs with subs/suppliers as needed; private road plowing.
In 2008, as part of a company philosophy of continual improvement in design and construction, Mr. Wiglusz was part of the team that produced a model home in Woodland Pond at Manchester to earn the first ENERGY STAR® label for the company as Woodland Pond became an ENERGY STAR® partner.
Projects included:
- Woodland Pond at Manchester – 73 home subdivision, Manchester, New Hampshire
- Birchside Common at Bedford – 14 home luxury community nestled around a village green, Bedford, New Hampshire
- The Mews at Bedford – 108 home, over 55 community, Bedford, New Hampshire
Prior to joining Waterford Development, Mr. Wiglusz worked at ProCon Construction for eight years as a superintendant. Projects included Archstone Tewksbury, a luxury apartment community; hospital fitup for Wentworth-Douglass Hospital; construction of Marriott family hotels in Foxboro, MA, Manchester, CT, and Westboro, MA; construction of new and renovation of existing dormitories, cafeteria, and Phillips Music Center at Gordon College; new construction of a furniture store adjacent to the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH; interior construction of existing JC Penney at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH; and conversion of the rectory to elderly housing at the Frances Warde House in Manchester, NH. Mr. Wiglusz also worked for four years as a superintendent at the John B. Sullivan Company where he was responsible for the completion of the condominium and townhome construction at Sky Meadow in Nashua, NH.
