JMY Consulting Services, Inc. ("JMY"), established in 1991, is a multi-disciplined real estate, resort development, and hospitality consulting firm, based in Boston, MA, with satellite offices in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON. JMY has been actively involved with a number of ski and multi-season resorts, hospitality developments, and large real estate plays throughout the United States, Canada, parts of Europe, and New Zealand.
JMY, as a separate entity as well as in partnership with Intrawest LLC; Jeld Wen Resorts; D.R. Matthews and Associates; TFG Hotels and Resorts, Inc.; and Waterford Development Corporation, has provided resort understanding of value assessments, due diligence services, financial services, real estate analysis, resort operations and asset management, planning and construction services, marketing and disposition services, and joint venture opportunities for a number of ski and multi-season resort clients.
JMY also has worked closely for a number of banks, insurance companies, pension funds, REITs, and hedge funds providing workout, asset management, and marketing and disposition strategies for non-performing resort and real estate assets.
JMY has served on numerous panels and made presentations such as "Recent Trends in Resort and Hospitality Development in North America" in Boston, New York, Vancouver, Toronto, Zurich, and London, and to the full NSAA membership at annual association conferences and tradeshows throughout the United States, in addition to serving on regional and national distressed sales and bankruptcy association boards.
