David Banker formed Waterford Investment Capital with Richard Houlding in 1989. From 1989 to the present, they invested and raised capital for 50-60 deals, and performed the following functions to achieve their objectives:

Case Study: Robern Apparel was restructured into Winstar Communications. Mr. Banker served as President of Winstar from 1992-1994 and transformed this Apparel Company into a strategic player in the telecommunications industry.
Mr. Banker previously was the President and CEO of Buxton Corporation from 1986-1991. After purchasing the company from its lenders in 1986, he organized a complete restructuring which built the company to $30 million in annual sales and resulted in a 40% annualized return on investment. From 1981 to 1985 he was President and CEO of TMW International, and resided and operated in Hong Kong, where he developed products and factories in China, India, Indonesia and the Philippines.
Mr. Banker’s distinguished career has included his role as President and CEO of Lechmere Sales of Cambridge, MA where he expanded a family business to six superstores and $300 million in sales during his six year tenure. He also served as the Vice President of Merchandising for the Zayre Corporation and as a Divisional Merchandise Manager for the Abraham & Strauss division of Federated Department Stores.
A graduate of Long Island University, Mr. Banker served as a Lieutenant and Executive Officer in the US Navy during the Korean War.
